The KSK centres were opened amidst a grand ceremony with the municipality inviting all its major stakeholders which has lent visibility of the program amongst the masses.
There was wide coverage in the mass media about the program. In Bharatpur, Chitwan, the program was formally opened to coincide with the celebration of the Child Rights Day on 20 November, 2014. The centre was inaugurated by the Chief District Officer- Dr Manbahadur B.K, chairperson from the Chitwan Chamber of commerce-Mr Kalyan Joshi and vice chairperson from Diyalo Pariwar, Mr Krishnahari Devkota. Similarly, the Nepalgunj centre at Salyanibagh was formally opened by the LDO of Nepalgunj, donor and executive officers of Nepalgunj municipality. At Ratnanagar, Chitwan, the center was opened by CDO, Dr Manbahadur B.K and Senior Superindent of Police- Ramesh Kharel.
They committed to support the program and appealed all to be involved to fulfil the objectives of the centres for reducing child labour and illiteracy from their locations.
