Our Advisory Team

The Advisory team comprises of four experts who have long history of solid contributions in the multiple area of equitable educational planning and decentralized educational initiatives, including non-formal education, gender, social inclusion, disaster risk reduction, competency based curriculum/ textbook and material development, life skills based education and training.

Mr. Udaya Manandhar

Education Expert

Master Degree from Tribhuvan University and Literacy training from UMass, USA. He has gained substantial experiences in Youth and child-focused Education management, planning, training & technical support. He had worked with Save the Children, Room to Read, World Education, Aga Khan Foundation and others in the most senior positions.

Mr. Mohan Gopal Nyachhyoan

Education Expert

With a Masters degree in Education; he brings over 45 years of experience in teaching, project management, training, monitoring and evaluation including 13 years of working with the Ministry of Education. Moreover, he has successfully worked with various bilateral and multilateral organizations like UNESCO, DANIDA, UNICEF, FINNIDA, World Bank and Asian Development Bank. In addition, he has also coordinated and facilitated many studies, projects, and documents including “Administrative and Management Study of Basic and Primary Education” and “Basic and Primary Education Master Plan, 1997-2002”. He is one of the recognized writers and editors of school textbooks.

Prof. Dr. Ganesh Bahadur Singh

Professor

Professor of ‘curriculum and evaluation’ at Faculty of Education, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal with over 18 years of experience in teaching, research and training. He has contributed in the several studies on assessment practices, in the Nepalese education system, involved as a program developer and radio serial scriptwriter in ‘enter-educate radio program for health workers’ for about five years. He has served as a consultant with bilateral and multilateral organizations including ADB, World Bank, UNESCO, UNDP, JICA/Nepal, CARE-Nepal etc. Currently, he is associated with critical thinking methodology development and implementation in Nepal.
